Lewd Lavolita: Delusions of Derby

Last night I went to my first Roller Derby event. And lemme tell you: Chicks are kickin ass and taking names! I had loads of fun and, of course, have the morning after obsession and delusions of derby grandeur of my own...

Maybe I'll pick up a pair of four-wheels and see if I can hang with the thick gals. Most of them were built like a Robert Crumb fantasy. I have that going for me!

I've spent a good part of the morning trying to think of a cool name. Well, here's what's super-duper-cool: the San Francisco team is called "SF ShEvil Dead," and they are derby's undead! I love zombies and I used to be passionate about skating....hmmm, I'll keep you updated, could be another one of my passing fancies like wanting to be a midwife or famous drummer...I coulda been a contenda!
